Tip Words to live with...

When faced with a problem, or feelings that might turn into an episode, these words have comforted me: "Solve it, or just survive it." I learned this idea in DBT (re: Dr. M Linehan) training. The 'solve it' part refers to learned skills to de-escalate intense reactions. If you can't work through the problem, let go, and know - no matter how intense, the episode won't go on forever. Just survive.
