Tip Hobbies Have Been Good For Me

When I focus on cutting a piece of stained glass, thinking of the best word to use in a story I write or what might be the next object I draw, I have no opportunity to feel sorry for myself. Self-pity is a disease unto itself and isn't healthy. I try to avoid that path using hobbies. I have taught myself to play the sax, draw art and write poems and short stories. Hobbies also allow me to become relaxed, eliminate stress, develop my sense of self-worth and to sleep more deeply
